Leaving Towerrining Lake, we next spent a nice cool night camped beside huge, tall red gums at Karri Gully before heading to Busselton. We arrived at Busselton the next morning and set up at the lovely Sandy Bay caravan park for a couple of days to visit Andy’s Auntie Joan. The long wharf (it’s the longest timber-piled wharf in the southern hemisphere) and pretty bay makes Busselton a lovely place to visit.

Then it was off to Coogee Beach caravan park near Fremantle and Perth so that we could visit Andy’s cousin and celebrate Andy’s upcoming 60th birthday with family. After a little car maintenance we headed south east again and spent a few pleasant nights at Pinjarra and Kojunup, which are great RV-friendly towns before making our way down to the Albany coast.
